These Area 51 facts will make you think twice about the existence of extraterrestrial life.
One of the most secret locations in the United States is located in the middle of the Nevada desert; it’s so quiet that not even Google Earth will zoom in very far. Greetings from Area 51, from your friend James!
Who is also a fan of the wonderful TV show “The X-Files”? I hope many of you are, because for today’s headline, I have chosen to talk more about the paranormal. After all, we’ve normalized enough, it’s time to paranormalize!
As Fox Mulder once said, “The truth is out there!” And don’t throw stones at me, but I tend to believe him, not because this is one of my favorite shows of all time, but especially when it comes to the Area 51 facts and what is really going on there.
I have to admit that it would be a bit egoistic to say we’re the only ones in this galaxy. Maybe the others living alongside us aren’t tiny and green as presented in sci-fi movies or documentaries.
Most of us have probably already heard about the controversial Area 51. Many people (including myself, because I’ve read many articles and seen a ton of documentaries about it) have attempted to unravel the mystery of this top-secret, unreachable location for many years. However, nobody has been lucky or clever enough to figure it out.
Of course, unless you’re a government official, this area remains heavily protected. It’s the kind of place you can only imagine entering. Here are a few unsettling facts I’ve been meaning to share for a while, in case you’re wondering why this place is so special.

Area 51 seems to be the aliens’ lore
All the conspiracy theories about Area 51 sparked a ton of conflicts over the years, especially when Robert Lazar went public to speak about UFOs and aliens. For those who never saw the interview, he revealed information about Area 51 in an interview with George Knapp, a reporter for KLAS, the Las Vegas-based CBS affiliate.
According to Lazar, physicists are attempting to “back-engineer a downed alien spacecraft.” Woo, the plot thickens! Or not…While this theory remains unproven, many enthusiasts believe Lazar’s claims sparked modern interest in the government’s secretive activities at Area 51.
However, Lazar’s credentials were quickly discredited because, despite his claims, school records indicate that he never attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology or the California Institute of Technology.
I mean, he lied about this, but how do we explain the fact that reports of unidentifiable flying objects increased dramatically in Area 51 as a result of all the high-tech flights leaving the area, including over 2,850 A-12 takeoffs?
I watched a documentary that’s been on Netflix for a while called Bob Lazar: Area 51 & Flying Saucers, but I think it depends on your area if it’s available or not. Restrictions may apply if you reside in Area 51, because aliens might hijack the broadcasting.
Area 51 might make people sick
Among all the Area 51 facts that I am planning on summarizing and discussing in this article is the fact that, according to studies, besides all the conspiracy theories about aliens and UFOs, this space might also be contaminated by a few “unknown chemicals.”
I’ve read recently that veterans of the Air Force claim they were exposed to radiation close to Area 51, and many of them are currently dealing with serious health problems, such as fatal cancers, but the DOD won’t recognize their service on the classified range. Dave Crete had over 20 lipomas on his arms, torso, and forehead; one was so big it had to be removed from his back.
The area around the range saw hundreds of nuclear weapons tests between the 1950s and the beginning of the 1990s. The idea of constructing a military base there to house classified projects was first considered by the government in the 1970s.
Before the government sent these men and women to the range, there was nuclear contamination, including depleted uranium, beryllium, and plutonium, according to a 1975 Environmental Report from the U.S. Energy Research & Development Administration. “Discontinuing the work done… would be against the national interest,” the report adds.
Furthermore, in the 1990s, Area 51 employees approached attorney Jonathan Turley, claiming they were becoming ill due to exposure to hazardous materials at the site.
Some employees and their families claimed to have witnessed the burning of large amounts of “unknown chemicals” in trenches close to the base. Cancer rates in the nearby communities increased as a result of their serious skin and respiratory issues.
Following this, they filed a lawsuit against the state, with the main goal being to persuade the government to disclose the specific chemicals that had been burned so that medical personnel could treat the affected citizens.
Well, guess what? Workers at the time were unaware of the toxic materials they had been exposed to because the Clinton administration would not declassify information about them. As a result, they were unable to receive the proper medical attention.
This is by far one of the Area 51 facts that still gives me shivers down my spine. It’s horrifying to think that the Government of our country doesn’t want to help its citizens.
If you have read this far and you are still curious about other aspects of Area 51, I have a documentary recommendation for you. I have seen it five times so far (that’s a bit crazy, right?), but somehow every time I see it, I tend to discover new things. I am talking about Area 51: The CIA’s Secret Files is available on the History Channel or streaming platforms like Hulu and Amazon Prime.
This documentary goes deep into declassified files, expert interviews, and the strange history of Area 51 without getting into crazy conspiracy theories that the internet is full of.
It has a good mix of facts and mystery, so anyone interested in UFOs, Cold War spy planes, or the government’s most secretive base should put it on the watch list.
Area 51 relates to experiments in Weather Control
Many aficionados think that weather manipulation may be a covert aspect of military experimentation, even though this theory has not been proven.
Please excuse my memory, but I saw a History Channel documentary years ago about an alleged 2006 leak by Dr. Hendricks. He allegedly stated that the U.S. and Russia were engaged in a covert “weather war” that included weather control. The hurricane season of 2005, he claimed, was Russia’s first significant victory in this war.
He pointed out that the year experienced an unprecedented number of tropical storms, many of which adversely affected U.S. oil production and refining facilities. He even described it as “an escalating weather war.” Most startlingly, he claimed that the American power grid was a major contributor to global warming and was being used to fuel this conflict.
Were The Moon Landings Faked At Area 51?
The answer to this question will likely vary depending on who you ask. However, one of the most well-known conspiracy theories connected with Area 51 casts doubt on the reality of the 1969 moon landing and suggests that it was staged there.
NASA officials, according to Bill Kaysing, author of “We Never Went to the Moon: America’s Thirty Billion Dollar Swindle,” taped the fictitious landing on the testing site, brainwashed astronauts, and substituted Antarctic lunar meteorites for moon rocks.

So it is possible that “the truth is out there?”
In 2013, the CIA released information about the development of the A-12 and U-2, marking the first official government recognition of Area 51. Residents had previously been aware that something odd was happening in the desert, but the specifics were few and hard to confirm.
When it comes to Area 51 facts, it remains an operational base, but its function since the 1970s remains a top-secret mystery. In my opinion, it will take several more decades before the current work is declassified and made public. Maybe my kids will be lucky enough to confirm what Fox Mulder said.
The article wouldn’t be complete without my go-to book recommendation regarding this topic. Area 51: An Uncensored History of America’s Top Secret Military Base is a book I bring to the table every time everybody talks about conspiracy theories about Area 51. Why? Not only do I read and take notes from it, but I also have complete faith in the author.
Annie Jacobsen had access to fifty-five other military and intelligence personnel, scientists, pilots, and engineers connected to the secret base, including thirty-two who lived and worked there for extended periods.
She also had exclusive access to nineteen men, now aged 75-92, who served the base proudly and covertly for decades. This book is based solely on interviews, and it’s a mixture between fiction and reality, but a smooth mix that you won’t see as unusual. You won’t get bored reading it, I promise!
Now, because I just started my blog and hearing opinions from others will help me on my writing journey, what do you think about these Area 51 facts? Do you really believe that the Government is doing things behind our backs regarding aliens? Or do you think this is just a big hoax? Let me know your opinion in the comments section below.
If you want more curious facts like these, I’ll be posting weekly. Stick around!
